| I just want to announce today that i did my first INTUBATION. for those of you who don't know.. in anesthesia for surgery you often have to put breathing tubes in patients.. so that means that i sedate my patient to knock them out.. ventilate them with a mask.. paralyze them.. (they're not breathing at all) and then get a scope and look down their throat and put a breathing tube between their vocal cords. anyway, i did my first one today! on a real person!
